Here they are! My master plans for 2007.
Alright, as far as flash movies goes, this year will probably be less eventful if you compare it to 2005 or 2006. There are three major projects that I can absolutely assure the completion of, plus any little 'quickies' that pop up. Here's the deal on those :
1. Kirby's Dreamland II. I mentioned it in my last journal entry. It will be the sequel to "Kirby's Dreamland I" (which I have uploaded here on dA), a parody of Kirby's first game from back in 1992. This will be fairly long (probably about 5 minutes), and I intend on spending at least three weeks in production and refinement. I can't give you a very complex summary, as I haven't really thought about the storyline yet. However, expect it to be similar to the first episode - Kirby wandering around, encountering strange, half-retarded friends and foes. It'll be a hell of an adventure, that's for sure. This will also be one of my last sprite flashes, as I'm becoming more skilled with the mouse and tablet. Hopefully, I'll be able to carry my humor over to the drawn characters effectively and without any decay.
2. Joe Ska 2. You guessed it - another sequel. If you've seen the first episode (also available right here on dA), you can expect a strange, sort of alter-ego ska music video about some smiley yellow dude in a blue jumpsuit. You'd be right, too. In Joe Ska 2, I plan to focus more on frame-by-frame animation and color scheme. I already have the music selection and I have a bunch of ideas floating around, so it'll only be a matter of time before I actually sit down and create this thing. I think this flash will probably be the segway into more advanced and professional animations (sort of like the first episode). I also intend on spending at least three weeks, if not a month or more on this one. I mean, I don't want to get ahead of myself and say it'll be a blockbuster hit to rock the ages, but I definitely think this thing will go over well with the audience (that's you ).
3. Adventure Game (working title) - This is a collaboration between my best friend and I. It's a flash game about a 10 year old boy, but sadly, that's about as much information as I can give you. We're going to keep thing underwraps for awhile until progress increases and completion grows closer. My friend Brian does all of the Action Script and the character animations, while I do all of the backgrounds and cutscenes. We both contribute to the storyline. I dunno. I have extremely high hopes for this thing, as it will be my first game, and I'm quite anxious to see how it all ends up. Time will tell, that's for sure.
Extras/Quickies - Well, I've been getting into the Zelda franchise lately. Brian recently let me borrow Twilight Princess, and it's freakin' amazing! I'm having a hell of a time, and now I'm beginning to delve into the series. I'll probably play Ocarina of Time again. Well, anyway, what I'm trying to get at here - a bunch of these quickies will probably be drawn Zelda parodies. So, expect less Mario and more Zelda (I know, this is going to be an upsetting change for some of you). Don't get all worried - I haven't completely abandoned the fatass.
Man, that's about it for now. I'll be sure to post another update in a month or so, possibly with new information on this game. Wish us luck, and have a good one!

It's Freakin' Summer
Hey guys! I'm relieved to announce that it's the last week of school for me. If you're wondering, I'm about to complete junior year (11th grade), and what a year it has been. I learned how to drive, took those big fat SATs, had another great season of volleyball, and to top it off, I'm even getting back into flash.
With that perfect segway, I'd like to also announce my newest flash - "It's Freakin' Luigi". I've noticed that a decent number of you have already laid eyes on it - I got back to school a few minutes ago and had 44 messages awaiting me. It's great to have fans, but it's even more cherishable when they leave comments, and I thank y
The Autumn Lowdown
Hey guys, ladies, countrymen, whatever. How's it going?
I've been pretty bogged down with work. I'm a junior in highschool, so things are getting bumpy. I have a hell of a year ahead of me, with the SAT's, colleges, GPA's, and that means less Flashin'. I miss the old days, back when I was just starting with Super Mario Land. Yeah, the summer of '05 was the spark that got me rolling, and I have made nearly twenty movies since then. I'd work all night sometimes, from about midnight until six or seven in the morning. I loved it. Nowadays, life seems to be flying by. We should all look around once in a while, to make sure we don't miss anything
Flashin' Away
Hello everyone. I figured it's about time I updated this journal, so here goes nothin'.
As you may or may not know, I'm a flash dude. By that I mean, I eat flash for breakfast, and by that I mean, my social life is in a bit of a pickle right now. I am makin' it seem like such a bad thing, but all of this alone time is freakin' awesome. I had enough of those kids during the school year anyway (OMFG NEW CELLPHONE?! NO WAY!...), so it feels great to just hang ten for a while.
Well then, onto my projects. It's hard for me to give excruciating detail as of the moment, because I have just finished my latest flash, "Rick 1a - Sand Dunes". I'm alw
I Love Comments
Not to sound greedy or anything, but I love reading your comments. Words of the people inspire me to keep on creating, and that's something I simply cannot put a value on. If you like my work, tell me what parts you especially enjoyed. If you disliked one of my projects, tell me which parts bothered you in particular. Constructive criticism is very important, as it allows the artist to interpret different views on his/her work from people of different backgrounds, artistic levels, nationalities, etc. So if you have something to say, don't be afraid to say it, unless it's something like "F*ck you asswipe!", because then, I'm gonna have to hunt
