Here they are! My master plans for 2007.

Alright, as far as flash movies goes, this year will probably be less eventful if you compare it to 2005 or 2006. There are three major projects that I can absolutely assure the completion of, plus any little 'quickies' that pop up. Here's the deal on those :

1. Kirby's Dreamland II. I mentioned it in my last journal entry. It will be the sequel to "Kirby's Dreamland I" (which I have uploaded here on dA), a parody of Kirby's first game from back in 1992. This will be fairly long (probably about 5 minutes), and I intend on spending at least three weeks in production and refinement. I can't give you a very complex summary, as I haven't really thought about the storyline yet. However, expect it to be similar to the first episode - Kirby wandering around, encountering strange, half-retarded friends and foes. It'll be a hell of an adventure, that's for sure. This will also be one of my last sprite flashes, as I'm becoming more skilled with the mouse and tablet. Hopefully, I'll be able to carry my humor over to the drawn characters effectively and without any decay.

2. Joe Ska 2. You guessed it - another sequel. If you've seen the first episode (also available right here on dA), you can expect a strange, sort of alter-ego ska music video about some smiley yellow dude in a blue jumpsuit. You'd be right, too. In Joe Ska 2, I plan to focus more on frame-by-frame animation and color scheme. I already have the music selection and I have a bunch of ideas floating around, so it'll only be a matter of time before I actually sit down and create this thing. I think this flash will probably be the segway into more advanced and professional animations (sort of like the first episode). I also intend on spending at least three weeks, if not a month or more on this one. I mean, I don't want to get ahead of myself and say it'll be a blockbuster hit to rock the ages, but I definitely think this thing will go over well with the audience (that's you :D).

3. Adventure Game (working title) - This is a collaboration between my best friend and I. It's a flash game about a 10 year old boy, but sadly, that's about as much information as I can give you. We're going to keep thing underwraps for awhile until progress increases and completion grows closer. My friend Brian does all of the Action Script and the character animations, while I do all of the backgrounds and cutscenes. We both contribute to the storyline. I dunno. I have extremely high hopes for this thing, as it will be my first game, and I'm quite anxious to see how it all ends up. Time will tell, that's for sure.

Extras/Quickies - Well, I've been getting into the Zelda franchise lately. Brian recently let me borrow Twilight Princess, and it's freakin' amazing! I'm having a hell of a time, and now I'm beginning to delve into the series. I'll probably play Ocarina of Time again. Well, anyway, what I'm trying to get at here - a bunch of these quickies will probably be drawn Zelda parodies. So, expect less Mario and more Zelda (I know, this is going to be an upsetting change for some of you). Don't get all worried - I haven't completely abandoned the fatass.

Man, that's about it for now. I'll be sure to post another update in a month or so, possibly with new information on this game. Wish us luck, and have a good one!

Hey guys, ladies, countrymen, whatever. How's it going?

I've been pretty bogged down with work. I'm a junior in highschool, so things are getting bumpy. I have a hell of a year ahead of me, with the SAT's, colleges, GPA's, and that means less Flashin'. I miss the old days, back when I was just starting with Super Mario Land. Yeah, the summer of '05 was the spark that got me rolling, and I have made nearly twenty movies since then. I'd work all night sometimes, from about midnight until six or seven in the morning. I loved it. Nowadays, life seems to be flying by. We should all look around once in a while, to make sure we don't miss anything or anyone on life's journey.

With these time contraints, I plan to focus more on the digital art section, as in single framed pictures. I haven't forgotten about my fans, and I never will. It's the least I can do to say "thank you" without traveling around the world to each of your homes. My latest work is called "Kirby's Cannon". Check it out - it should put a smile on your face. Speaking of the pink booger, I still have to create "Kirby's Dreamland II". This is the one flash I can promise you guys, and it should be done sometime around December.

I started to write again. For three years, I've put it off, but my new (and inspiring) English teacher has rekindled my old passion. It could end up being a full-fledged novel, but only time will tell. I kind of always wanted to get something published before I send in my transcript to the colleges. Some kid will write down, "Chess Team Champion". I'll smirk and write, "I published a freakin' book."

That's all for now. Have a good one!

Hello everyone. I figured it's about time I updated this journal, so here goes nothin'.

As you may or may not know, I'm a flash dude. By that I mean, I eat flash for breakfast, and by that I mean, my social life is in a bit of a pickle right now. I am makin' it seem like such a bad thing, but all of  this alone time is freakin' awesome. I had enough of those kids during the school year anyway (OMFG NEW CELLPHONE?! NO WAY!...), so it feels great to just hang ten for a while.

Well then, onto my projects. It's hard for me to give excruciating detail as of the moment, because I have just finished my latest flash, "Rick 1a - Sand Dunes". I'm always rolling around, rummaging through idea after idea for a future flash after I finish one. It's actually a bit of a vicious cycle, but lets not delve into the negatives then, eh? Anyway, I'm planning on this "Rick" fellow to serve as my protagonist in a full-fledged series, which will be aptly named, "Rick". If you haven't seen the first episode, I highly recommend going to my gallery and watching it - it'll probably cheer you up. Eventually, I plan to have anywhere between 8 - 12 episodes, so the series won't be done for a quite a while, but expect a "Rick 1b" sometime within the next few months.

Other than that, I'm currently working on "Kirby's Dreamland II" - a sequel to my sprite comedy hit, "Kirby's Dreamland I". This eventual five-parter will be a rival/sequel to my "Super Mario Land" series. If you've seen my Super Mario Land parodies, you'll have an idea as to what Kirby's Dreamland will be like. However, there are a few twists. The most obvious change - Kirby's Dreamland is not a reel of bloopers. Instead, it's more of an adventure or story. The overall style is different, as the comedy is not nearly as slapstick. The rest, only time will tell. So, if you're interested in watching the first episode, I'm uploading it after I finish this journal entry, so there's no need to throw rotten e-tomatoes at me.

Finally, there's a blood 'n guts shoot 'em up flash. If any of you have ever seen an episode of Madness (Apotheosis, Depredation, Combat, etc.), you know what I'm talkin' about. As a revved up teenage male, I can only do cutesy drawn flashes and sprite comedies for so long until I boil over. Testosterone kicks in, and the rest is history. All I can say - expect Uzi's, blood, and awesome. The title will be, "Uzi Run" or something similar.

Well, that's it for now. If you bothered to read all of this, I salute you, but only if you leave me a comment :D Thanks a bunch guys. Later.
Not to sound greedy or anything, but I love reading your comments. Words of the people inspire me to keep on creating, and that's something I simply cannot put a value on. If you like my work, tell me what parts you especially enjoyed. If you disliked one of my projects, tell me which parts bothered you in particular. Constructive criticism is very important, as it allows the artist to interpret different views on his/her work from people of different backgrounds, artistic levels, nationalities, etc. So if you have something to say, don't be afraid to say it, unless it's something like "F*ck you asswipe!", because then, I'm gonna have to hunt you down and disembowel you :D When I have some spare time, I'd love to return the favor and comment on some of your stuff.

DeviantART is so much fun. I'm lovin' this place already. I wonder why I took so long to sign up for an account...    Latah, chaps.
I've been yearning for a deviantART profile for a while. I don't really know what held me back, but I'm here now. I'm a regular of, so I'll be submitting a lot of my flashes. I've also been working with photoshop lately, so I'll have some pictures along the way as well. This seems like it's gonna be fun, and I can't wait to show my stuff to you guys.

If you want to know more about me, I'll tell you some of the fundamentals, and if you don't, well, skip this paragraph. My name is Jeremy. I'm currently a sophomore at Roslyn High School, which is on Long Island (NY). I love to play sports, especially soccer, volleyball, football, and basketball. I've been playing the cello for six years now, so I'm pretty good. I'm a strange mix of a bunch of nationalities, which include : Polish, Irish, Italian, Dutch, German, Native American, and African American. I love creating art most of all. The freedom that it allots is immeasurable, and that's why I enjoy it so much. I've been working with Macromedia Flash for about two years now, and in that time, I've come a long way. It was real tough getting started, but once I got it, it was a skill that I'd never want to surrender.

Well that's about all for now. If you have any personal questions or other questions regarding my flashes, etc., send me an email at I'd be glad to respond!
