Joe Ska

Deep into the Long Island winter, I found myself quite depressed and lonely. The success of Super Mario Land IV had just about worn off, and I was prepared to embark on a new project. I was tired of the limitations that sprites brought about, so I went with the trusty paintbrush tool and had a go at it.

A character, which I finally named "Joe Ska" came into existance. Fueled by my depression, I sculpted Joe into a fun-loving individual on the brink of insanity. The actual flash is a music video for the Reel Big Fish song, "Sellout". It successfully carried me out of my sadness, and I hope it can cheer you up whenever you're in a bad mood.
